A night in La Cantera

I really have not been to many big concerts, only Red Hot Chili Peppers' has been the most massive one. The other concerts were less popular, like the ones from Los Tres (my first concert was with them, too, when I was 15); Pánico, in two times, and many other free events.

On the other hand, there are the "toccatas", which almost all were in a place called "La Cantera", located in the neighborhood of La Matriz, in Valparaíso. This is a small place with a basement where many bands from the Post-Hardcore scene play, both the national as the international scene, notwithstanding other styles of bands that play here too.

From this place, my favourite concert was Familea Miranda. This is a post-hardcore chilean group radicated in Barcelona. They aren't very known in Chile, but their music, based on rhythm and tempo radical changes, like Math Rock style, makes unpredictables and so energetic songs. I went to see them the past year and until today I remember that night.

  4. I've never go to Valparaíso to party, everytime I go is during the day. I have a very close friend, Catalina, who loves partying in Valparaíso, but she has never invited me hahaha.

If I go someday, I'll remember this and go to that place :)
